As a Cirrus Authorized Service Center, our KOKV maintenance team focuses primarily on general aviation aircraft with reciprocating engines, with a significant emphasis on Cirrus Aircraft maintenance and support

This role is hands-on and maintenance-driven, ideal for technicians who enjoy GA work, owner-flown aircraft, and in-depth mechanical troubleshooting rather than heavy turbine or airline-style environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer-owned and transient general aviation aircraft, with the majority of work involving reciprocating engine platforms
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer technical data

Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P)

About the Role

This position is part of the flyADVANCED maintenance team based at KXLL. While flyADVANCED operates separately from the flight school, this role exists primarily to support flyGATEWAY Flight School operations by maintaining a high-utilization general aviation training fleet.

The role is hands-on and maintenance-driven, ideal for technicians who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment focused on piston aircraft, preventative maintenance, and operational reliability rather than turbine or airline-style operations.

Our maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping the Piper P100 fleet safe, compliant, and mission-ready to support daily training operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Piper P100 training aircraft
  • Conduct 100-hour and annual inspections in accordance with FAA regulations
  • Troubleshoot and repair airframe, powerplant, and basic avionics discrepancies
  • Remove, install, rig, and operationally check aircraft components and systems as required

This position requires recent experience operating the Pilatus PC-24, including simulator-based training completed within the last 12 months.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Provide a superior air transportation experience while supporting an industry-leading safety record.

Represent the flight operation as a professional ambassador of flyADVANCED, ensuring both safe aircraft operation and exceptional passenger service.

Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) in the safe operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight including taxi, takeoff, cruise, and landing in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM checklists, the flyADVANCED Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Support the PIC in conducting passenger briefings including itinerary review, weather updates, and safety information.

Provide concierge-level service to owners and passengers while maintaining a professional and safety-focused environment.

Assist in ensuring efficient and on-time departures through effective preparation and coordination.

Operate flights that may include pets and passengers who smoke.

Maintain situational awareness and readiness to assist the PIC during both normal and emergency operations.

Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and assist with completing required maintenance documentation.

Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, company procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure continued professional competency.

General Manager, Charter & Management Operations

flyADVANCED Jet is seeking an experienced aviation leader to oversee charter operations, client development, and aircraft management operations across our growing Part 135 division.

ABOUT FLYADVANCED JET

Aero Ways, Inc., operating as flyADVANCED Jet, is a FAA-certificated Part 135 on-demand air carrier providing private jet charter, aircraft management, and aviation services across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. With a growing fleet, a seasoned flight operations team, and a commitment to white-glove client service, flyADVANCED Jet is expanding its charter division and seeking an experienced, hands-on leader to drive that growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This leadership role is designed to consolidate charter operations, client development, and day-to-day management of the flight division under one accountable executive. The GM will be the operational and commercial face of the charter business, present with clients, present with crew, and responsible for driving charter revenue growth and operational performance.

The right candidate brings deep Part 135 operational knowledge, a track record in charter sales or aircraft management, and the personality to build lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients, brokers, and aviation partners.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role requiring regular in-person engagement with clients and operations teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Charter Revenue & Business Development

  • Own and drive charter revenue targets for the division, including inbound, outbound, and broker relationships
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of charter clients, aircraft management prospects, and repeat fliers
  • Serve as primary point of contact for high-value clients, providing a premium, relationship-driven experience
  • Partner with Account Manager and Charter Sales to build structured outreach and follow-up processes
  • Represent flyADVANCED Jet at industry events, FBO partner meetings, and client engagements

Flight Operations Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day charter flight operations in coordination with the Asst. DO / Chief Pilot
  • Ensure scheduling, dispatch, and crew coordination run efficiently and in regulatory compliance
  • Serve as the management-side bridge between pilots, FAA compliance, and client-facing staff
  • Work closely with the Compliance & FAA Liaison to maintain Part 135 certificate integrity
  • Coordinate with Flight Ops Coordinator and Flight Attendant on trip logistics and service standards
  • Maintain strong operational awareness and responsiveness during active flight operations and client events

Team Leadership

  • Directly lead a team of six: Chief Pilot / Asst DO, Compliance & FAA Liaison, Charter Sales Associate, Flight Ops Coordinator, Account Manager, and Flight Attendant
  • Clarify roles, set clear performance expectations, and hold team members accountable to outcomes
  • Improve cross-functional alignment between charter sales and flight operations
  • Build a high-performance culture centered on client service, safety, and operational excellence

Strategic & Executive Alignment

  • Report directly to the VP of Business Operations with regular updates on revenue, operations, and team performance
  • Contribute to fleet expansion planning, identifying aircraft opportunities that fit client demand
  • Collaborate with Finance on charter pricing, trip profitability, and budget adherence
  • Develop metrics and reporting cadence that gives leadership clear visibility into division performance

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 5+ years in Part 135 charter operations, aircraft management, or aviation services leadership
  • Demonstrated track record in charter sales, client development, business development, or growing aviation client relationships
  • Deep understanding of FAA Part 135 regulatory requirements and certificate management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable with C-suite clients and flight crew alike
  • Ability and willingness to be physically present on-site and with clients
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a small, cross-functional team

Preferred

  • Pilot certificate (ATP or Commercial) preferred but not required
  • Existing relationships with charter brokers, aircraft owners, or Fortune 500 travel departments
